We're Blog Hoppin' With "You Are My Happy"

Celebrate National Stamping Month
With A Sarita Card Collection
Sarita's bright and cheerful colors will just seem to go with "You Are My Happy"
stamp set trio. This stamp set includes some wonderful sayings, an alphabet set
and some cute icons to go with the sayings. The icon stamps are open stamps
so they will need some coloring  of some sort. I'm not a fan of open stamps so I
will share some easy ways to enhance your stamps with different techniques.
If you have come from Katy's scrappinkaty blog you are on the right path.

Tone on tone stamping adds dimension to your open stamps
Color in small areas of your open stamp with a coordinating marker
Paper piecing is a good way to use open stamps.
Stamp the image on one color cardstock and stamp the same image with
another color cardstock. Cut out part of the image and pop it up
on top of the first stamped image.

Color small areas of the stamped image with water color pencils
and blend with the Tombow blending pen
Stamps your image with ink and color in with water color pencils.
Blend the color with tombow blending pen.

Now hop over to pamsclearlycraftycorner to check out what she's got
going in her corner of this hop. FYI: Pam's got pictures of this stamp
set trio so on hop over and take a look. Happy Hopping!
