A Some Kind of Awesome Sketch

 At Atlantic Hearts

 This week at Atlantic Hearts has an awesome sketch that I used for

a birthday gift box.  In January I made a birthday reminder pocket

book. I asked all my customers and down line to sign the book on

their birthday. Now, just for this year I am making birthday gifts

for all who have signed my book. 

This is the birthday gift for my May girls. I also made a handmade

gift box to coordinate with the gift. I really enjoyed using the sketch

at Atlantic Hearts to design my gift box.

Windblown Inchies

Having Fun with Inchies

Using the colors at Color My Heart color challenge I made some

fun inchies with the new Petite Perks: Windblown

Colors: Black, White, Whisper, and Slate

What are inchies? Small art pieces that come in inch sizes.

I used 1", 1.25", and 1.5" pieces of cardstock and B&T papers

layering them together and embellishing with mini sparkles,

sequins, and enamel gems.

What do you do with inchies? Add them to a card, a tag, a box, or a bag.

Use this card pattern and add your inchie.

 Cut a 3 X 4.5 tag. Add your inchie and cluster some random

leftovers from other projects on your tag.

Cut any box from a Cricut cartridge and add your inchie.

It's a Birthday Bash

The color challenge at Color My Heart is a fun one with 

Hollyhock, Sunset and Olive

I used the Fundamental CS to make some bright and cheerful birthday

gift boxes. The sentiment tag is from the August SOTM "Framed."

Along with the gift boxes I made a bag topper with the Olive Fundamental CS

for a sweet surprise for someone special. Be sure to share your birthday

creations at Heart 2 Heart's Birthday Bash.

Note: The current Fundamental CS will retire at the end of this month and

will be replaced with some new and exciting colors and prints. Be sure

to check them out on September 1 in the new 2015-2016 Annual Inspirations.

At the Rose Blossom Garden

The challenge: work with the Circus (or "P") key on the Artiste cartridge (page 50) of the Cricut booklet.  This is a super fun key, that includes pinwheels, Ferris wheels, Yo-yos and a cute triangle box.

The Yo-yo(shift, 3-d object) on this page is my favorite. 

I've used it as part of my Dream Pop party supplies. 

The cute pinwheels add a fun accent to the party. 

The Party invitation with the yo-yo and pinwheels. 

I used the letter "P" from Artiste to spell out Party.

Even though this challenge ends today, tomorrow 

Rose Blossom Garden will have a brand new challenge.
