Out With the Old

To Make Room for the New
Another card for my Card Buffet Workshop coming in June is made with
my "Dotty for You" paper pack. This paper pack must go to make room
for the new products coming with the new Annual Inspiration Idea Book.
The "Dotty for You" paper pack includes the colors Sunset & Lagoon
for this week's challenge at Color My Heart. Then the "Out With the Old"
Olive Mini Medley provided the Olive for this challenge.
Now, it's your turn so share your Sunset, Lagoon & Olive
creations with us at Color My Heart.

Out With the Old

To Make Room for the New
In anticipation of the arrival of the new  Annual Inspiration for 2014-2015
I've been working on cards for my Card Buffet event in June. I'm trying
to use up my old CTMH products to make room for the new products
coming in August. So when I came across a retired stamp set from
Spring of 2013 the seed packet, the flowers, and the bee seemed just
perfect for the "In the Garden" challenge at Heart 2 Heart
I'm trying to use up my old retired papers at the buffet so I used B&T
paper from the 2012 Scholastic paper pack for the base of my card.
Now it's your turn to share your "In the Garden" creation
with us at Heart 2 Heart.

Out With the Old

To Make Room for the New
Last month as I was looking through the 15 years of CTMH products that
have accumulated themselves in my craft room I decided to have a Card Buffet
using up my old products. Now this card comes from the 2010 National
Scrapbooking Month special called "Triple Play." I used the kit to make
some cards for my buffet. One of the cards just happened to be
hollyhock which worked for this week's color dare at Color My Heart.

Color Dare: Hollyhock and Buttercup
Card Design: Make It From Your Heart Vol. II #20
Stamps and Cut Outs: Triple Play from 2010 National Scrapbooking Month
Now It's your turn to share your Hollyhock/Buttercup creation at Color My Heart.

It's a Banner Day

At Heart 2 Heart
Banners are the challenge this week at Heart 2 Heart
This also goes along with the sketch at CAS(E) this sketch.
With so many birthdays coming up in our family I needed to make
birthday cards. This card is sorta generic with the blue, green, and
yellow colors along with the stars. I can dress it up with ribbon and
sparkles to make it a bit more for the girls.
This is a fun sketch at CAS(E) this sketch for birthday cards.
So it's your turn to make a banner project and share at Heart 2 Heart.
CTMH Supplies:

Color Dare #93

And... A Free Download
The color dare at Color My Heart this week was really a challenge
with the 4 nice bright colors Cranberry, Honey, Juniper, and Twilight.
But as I was pondering these colors over my CTMH Free Download was
sitting on the table.  Oh, boy it looks like they would work with these colors.
So I grabbed the Juniper papers from Lollydoodle
and the Honey and Cranberry papers from Jubilee.
Then I  mated each print from the Free Download
with Twilight and then came the hard part.....
Where to add the cranberry?
So each card just got a touch of cranberry and voila...Done.

Now it's your turn to turn these colors into a wonderful creation
and share with us at Color My Heart.
CTMH Supplies:
B&T Duos: Lollydoodle, Jubilee
Cardstock: White Daisy, Twilight,
Ink: Cranberry, Honey
CTMH Free Download
Embellishments: Sparkle Flourish, Juniper & Cranberry Brads, Honey Stick Pin, Bakers Twine

Free To Be Me Blog Hop

Celebrating National Scrapbooking Month
with a mini scrapbook flip album.
Welcome to the "Free To Be Me" blog hop. If you have come from
Gina Brandstetter's  blog you are on the right trail.
My scrapbook project is the Snapshots Mini Album from Artbooking Cricut booklet
pages 40 & 41.I changed the size to fit the Decor Flip Stand. To make this flip album
just cut each page @ 6 3/4" with white daisy cardstock.  Then cut all the pieces of the
album at the same size 6 3/4" using the papers from the Free To Be Me paper pack.
Then just add your elements to each page as desired to coordinate with your photos.
Front page shows my favorite photos of my amazing grand children.
Living in Southern California we spend a lot of time at the beach.
These are a few of my favorite beach photos. It was hard to pick.
Use the background of a photo to mount behind the "click it" bubble.
Oh Snap. Grandpa just loves to snap the girls when they
get together. These photos where at ages 8, 15, and 18.
I call this page with my beautiful grand daughters "Three's a charm"
My Sunshine girl, Ashley, really is the light in every ones life.
This page has a vellum envelope with the camera icon inserted
for some journaling.
Zachary is my youngest grand child. He is famous for always
being himself. I tucked a journal strip in the pocket to make
some notes about this amazing young man.
These are my twin grand daughters Alicyn and Alexis.
They always brighten the day with their happy smiles and
loving attitude. To make the photo mats just cut the photo mats
that were used for the pages at 4 3/4 real dial size.
My first born grandson, Joshua, is indeed "Awesome."
I stamped some journaling lines directly on the page
before adding each part. This is a pocket page with
the photo tucked into the pocket.

Now it time to hop over to Michelle Stewart's blog to
see her amazing "Free To Be Me" creations.
Happy trails as you hop along.
CTMH Supplies:
B&T Duos: Free To Be Me
Cardstock: White Daisy
Ink: Black
Stamps: Take Note from Artbooking Collection
Embellishments: Bakers Twine, Aqua Dots, Triangle Studs, Black Mini Medley, Enamel Shapes
Pattern: Artbooking Snapshot Mini Album cut at 6 3/4 inches to fit the flip stand.

National Scrapbook Month

Celebrate with a Special Paper Collection

This new paper pack contains some fun spring/summer colors and some trendy
feathers and arrows. I was actually amazed at how my photos went with this
paper pack. It seemed that no matter the photo, it looked good with the paper.
Come back tomorrow for a scrapbooking  "Free to Be Me" blog hop.
In the mean time I've made some softer cards with the left over scraps.
A Feather card made with the feather vellum paper from the pack.
Arrows point the way to making  the smiles.
And if you like arrows and feathers these arrows point to a
special message inside a feather vellum envelope.
