Copy That

My Favorite Subject
Love to copy. There are so many amazing inspirational talented
paper artist sharing their creations it's hard not to copy. Usually when I copy
I do put a Jody twist on it like this card I "copied" from the new
Annual Inspirations page 45 for the Heart 2 Heart challenge.
I used the gold overlay for the stripes and since I didn't
need a Birthday card I made a Happy Day card.
So check out the Annual Inspiration and copy yourself
a project. If you don't have the exact supplies just use
the ones you have. Change up the colors, use different
stamps, turn the card or page in a different direction but
most of all just have fun.

Inspired By

Vicki at the Wizard's Hangout
If you're not hanging out at the Wizard's Hangout you could be missing
some truly inspiring CTMH art.

I used Vicki's inspirational card for this. I made the strip on the
side wider and added some ribbon from the Rustic Home Collection.
I cut the thanks from kraft and added a kraft heart at the bottom.
Again I widened the strip, added the ribbon and kraft thanks with
the words from the bottom of my heart in Lagoon ink.
Thanks, Vicki. You're a real inspiration to us all.

Heart 2 Heart

Meets Freshly Made Sketches
I guess you can now say  I'm addicted to the new Close to My Heart
Cricut cartridge Flower Market. It seems I need to make flowers everyday
and this cartridge makes it so easy. I really like stamping flowers but the
dimensional look is so much more fun.
So I used the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches to make this
card with the fence and flowers.
The colors of the Florence paper pack challenge at Heart 2 Heart
made the flowers cheerful and gave the card some pop.
If you miss your chance to play with this sketch another one will be posted
at Freshly Made Sketches on Wednesday. You can play at Heart 2 Heart
until the end of the month so please share your Florence creations with us.

With Thin Cuts

You Get Two for One
The sketch at CAS(E) this Sketch works perfectly with our
new heart shaped Thin Cuts. When you cut the hearts you get
the outline shape and the heart shape...hence two for one.
Inside Heart Shape
The sentiment comes from our new Operation Smile
stamp set "Spread the Love" This sentiment that makes
this card a paper hug is going to be a favorite for a long time.
Heart Outline
I dressed each outline with a small flower.
Use this sketch and the heart Thin Cuts to make your own paper hugs.

Sending Smiles

From the Flower Market
Color My Heart color challenge this week makes for some
colorful flowers from CTMH's Flower Market Cricut cartridge:
Thistle, Eggplant, Juniper, Crystal Blue with White Daisy
I used the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches for my card design.
Flowers are from page 18 in Cricut Flower Market booklet. I cut all the
parts for the flowers with white daisy CS and sponged each color on
the parts of the flowers and stems. Crystal Blue was used to sponge
the clouds. A little strip of Whimsy Fundamentals was added to the bottom.

Use this sketch to make a fun card. A new sketch will be
posted at Freshly Made Sketches on Wednesday.  Be sure to check it out.

The fun colors at Color My Heart are good until Thursday so come play.
