May 1st. On this card we have Bashful Polka

 Dots from Central Park, Colorful Mat & 

Blossom Mat from Documented, and the Smile  

stamp from Fresh Air. The wooden heart

comes from Fresh Air Shapes. I love to stay

 in the box of each paper pack but sometimes 

it's just fun to Mix and Match.

Lagoon, Mink, Peacock, and Silver

The flowers are stamped in Mink ink and rolled with Lagoon

ink. The centers are stamped with Peacock ink and embellished

with silver gems. The "for you" is thin cut with silver glitter paper.

Soda Pop Cake

My Grand daughter Ashley is the new cook in the family. So... just for her 

I am using the Cut Above Kitchen Recipe Kit to make her a collection

 of family recipes passed on through the generations.  One of our 

family traditions is to have the Out Of This World Soda Pop Cake 

for her birthday. Her birthday was just this month when up came the 

Out Of This World challenge at Heart 2 Heart. Great timing H2H.

Bashful and Blossom

The Color My Heart challenge this week gives

 me a chance to share a sneak peak. Counting 

down 13 days until the new Seasonal Expressions II

 goes live to all customers. In it will be a new 

paper pack with some Bashful polka dot B&T

 paper in an amazing new paper pack. Don't miss

 my sneak peaks coming between now and then. 

I cut my flowers with White Daisy and sponged 

them with Blossom ink. The centers are Bashful Pearls.

Pocket cards in the paper packs make it easy to make cards for any occasion. You can make cards ahead of time and add the sentiment as needed. I made several cards with the pocket cards from Gimme Some Sugar and I just added the birthday sentiment for my Aunt's Birthday. We're Off to Hawaii

Our family vacation will be in Hawaii this year. So, I used the sketch at Atlantic Hearts as inspiration for my 4 X 6 postcard accent for pocket scrapbooking. This will coordinate with the May National Scrapbook Month Postcard Perfect special.

Bashful, Raspberry, and Pebble

For me Raspberry is too bold to go with the 

softness of Bashful and Pebble so I used second 

generation Raspberry to tone it down a bit.
