It's Technique Week at H2H

This will be a fun filled week at Heart 2 Heart.  We will be sharing new techniques all week that you won't want to miss.  Be sure to come back as often as you can. We really would like to see your favorite technique so be sure to share.

My favorite technique is clustering with layering.  The trick to clustering is to combine your items in groups of three. Three is the magic number. Also, when you place your cluster on your card or scrapbook page use  triangle method for placement. Can you find all the triangle placements on my card? Butterfly, sentiment, flower.  Black brad at the top of the tag, black brad on the bow of the sentiment, black opaque in the center of the flower.
These are the items I wanted to cluster on my card. The tag, the flower. and the layered sentiment.  To make layered sentiments choose two shapes from the Booksmart Dimensional Elements. Cover the shapes with your favorite paper and layer together. Stamp a sentiment and add a ribbon. Very easy.
When adding your clustering items to your project start with the largest item. Mine is the tag. Then add the other items to form a visual triangle.

Now it's your turn to share your favorite technique with us at H2H challenges? Be sure to use some Close To My Heart products in your creation (and of course follow the theme). Entries are open for each week of the month until the end of the month. So round up your CTMH products and share your favorite technique with us. We have two amazing sponsors this month, Angel and Sharon who are giving away some great gifts.
