A Water Color Effect
With Hollyhock, Autumn Terracotta, and Barn Red
Using the backside of a flower stamp from the stamp set "Enjoy the Little Things"
stamp first generation ink off to second generation. Give the second generation
ink a soft spritz of water with the spray pen. Stamp the wet ink on a
piece of white daisy cardstock. After the ink is dry turn the stamp
over to the right side, ink and stamp the flower
on the water colored spot. Cut your flower out and use as desired.
The colors this week at Color My Heart work really well for this technique.
Happy coloring and share with us at Color My Heart.
I used this fun and playful sketch from CAS(E) this sketch
for my card pattern. You can show us your creation using this

Great card, Jody! I love how you flipped the acrylic stamp to apply more ink--I can't wait to try that! Thanks for playing along with us again at Color My Heart Color Dare!
:) Marie
You rocked both of these challenges. Lovely.
Oooo...what a clever technique! Love how you can flip a lined stamp over to get an instant solid shape, but never thought to do a texturing technique like this. As always, thanks for joining us at Color My Heart. I always look forward to your entries and love it when you teach me something new!!
Wow, what a great use of these colors! Love this card!
