Celebrates Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving blessing to all as you celebrate this 

day and give thanks for all the gifts that come your way.

Here's my card with a thankful heart for the challenge at

Heart 2 Heart. I used the fun sketch from this week's

 Atlantic Hearts for my card. 

Color My Heart

Inspired by Nature at Heart 2 Heart

Christmas is full of Nature with the Christmas Tree, mistletoe, pine cones, poinsettias, holiday wreaths, and all the trimmings. My card features some pine twigs with red berries and pine cones inspired by the nature challenge at Heart 2 Heart. The colors come from the bottom row of the Tic Tac Toe challenge board at Color My Heart: Pomegranate, Espresso, and Fern.

Use this Tic Tac Toe color challenge to create you own special

Pomegranate, Sapphire, and Saffron

The butterfly is stamped with Sapphire and 

sponged with Pomegranate and Saffron ink.

The leaves are stamped with Saffron 

and rolled in Pomegranate.

Meets Atlantic Hearts

It's a monochromatic green challenge at Color My Heart.

I used New England Ivy and Fern with papers from

'Tis the Season and Grateful Heart. The snowflakes are

Winter Flurries thin cuts using White Daisy CS layered 

with White Glitter paper.

A Little Pumpkin Spice

At Heart 2 Heart

A reversible Pumpkin Spice Card Holder

I made a box to hold my Halloween cards and attached 

a pumpkin cut from Cricut Artbooking to the front 

of the box. I used the Hello Pumpkin paper pack 

for my pumpkin spice card holder.

Made another pumpkin from Artbooking with a

 Fall theme from the Grateful Heart paper pack 

and attached it to the back side of the Halloween 

 pumpkin spice card holder. Added my Thankful Cards.

Fun With Layers

At Heart 2 Heart

Adding layers to your cards give texture

 and dimension. It could add to the postage but

 if you hand deliver that will solve the problem.

The background has three layers with a card on top. 

The card has a thanks giving greeting with a layer 

of banners topped with a flower and a popped up heart. 

Strips of paper decorate the bottom.

The finishing touch is a layer of baker's twine and 

enamel gems on the flowers.
