May Basket with May Flowers

My Rose Collection
We are springing into Spring at Heart 2 Heart with flowers.
Sometimes I want to add a rose to a project but I don't want to
take the time to make one. So I decided to take this opportunity
make a bunch of roses in assorted colors. I then made my May basket
to hold the roses. Now when I need a rose I will have one ready to go.
I just made one of every rose in the Cricut booklets. Some from Artist and some from
Art Philosophy.I used Buttercup, Ariana Coral, Blush, White Daisy,
and Smoothie cardstock. After cutting the roses I rolled them
with the quilling tool and secured them with liquid glass. After they were
dry I sprayed them with water to soften the cardstock and curled the
edges down.  Now it's your turn to share your flowers with us at Heart 2 Heart.

Color Dare #91

My May Basket
The color Dare this week at Color My Heart is from Ariana Paper Pack:
Crystal Blue, Outdoor Denim, Ariana Grey, Ariana Green, Ariana Coral.
So, I used this paper pack to make a May basket.
It's all  ready to fill with some May flowers.
This basket is made using the card on page 40 in the Artiste booklet.
To make the basket cut the card using cardstock at 6 inches and the
B&T at 5.75 inches. Fold each card section and attach the sides
to each other with a small tab. Cut each folded card section off the
B&T paper and attach to the sides of the basket. Attach the hexagon
B&T shape to the bottom of the basket. Make small flowers to
attach to each seam on the basket. Add handle and butterfly as desired.
Now it's your turn to share your Ariana creations with us at Color My Heart.

Once Upon a Time

A Nutcracker Ballet Dream Come True
When my granddaughter was in her first Nutcracker Ballet at the age of 7,
she dreamed of someday being the Mechanical Doll. Her dream came true
in 2008 when she got the part of her dreams. She was on cloud 9 for weeks.
So....Once Upon a Time can happen with lots of hard work, perseverance
and a lot of ballet classes. If you have a Once upon a time story to share
with us at Heart 2 Heart you still have a few days to share.
Two page "Once Upon a Time" layout
The Mechanical appears when a giant gift box is opened by Clara's
Godfather. He winds up the doll and she begins to dance for Clara.
At the end of the dance Clara's Godfather picks up the doll and puts
her back into the giant gift box. The dance is over.
If you have a "Once Upon a Time" memory to share please post
at Heart 2 Heart for all to enjoy.

Looking ahead,  feathers will be featured in the new Free to Be Me
