For A Granddaughter's Wedding

I had the pleasure of  designing the Wedding invitation for my 

Granddaughter, Ashley and her fiance, Joshua.

Their colors are sugar plum and sapphire.

It's Sketch Time

With Freshly Made Sketches

I used the sketch below and Chelsea Gardens to make this card.

With the sentiment  inserted in the flowers it can be used for a

Birthday card, Mother's Day card, Wedding card or any other

card that is for a special day. The flowers are colored with water

color pencils. To get the water color look for the leaves stamp image

 in ink, stamp off to 2nd generation, spray with light mist of water

and stamp on white daisy CS.

Using Up Those Scraps

Use It or Lose It Challenge #7 is a wedding challenge. Using scraps for a wedding card can be a bit challenging.  So, I decided to use my Florentine scraps because it has hearts in the paper design.

   

 I punched two hearts to symbolize the two getting married. Then I covered one heart with torn scraps to symbolize the two united into one heart. The sentiment is a two line customized stamp from Close to my Heart. I added a strip of Florentine just under the ribbon (also a scrap from my stash).
