Welcome to November's Blog Hop

Welcome to our November Stamp of the Month Blog Hop featuring "Around the Block." This is a set of 26 stamps with doors, windows, roofs, and the house. If you have come from Shannon's Blog, you are on the right path.

If you get lost or the hop is broken you can find your way back at Jena's blog. She will post the entire list.

Being a married to a retired contractor, building homes is second nature to me. I have built three homes for you using the "Side Step Card." You can get the directions for this card design here.
I used our Jingle paper pack for the foundations of my homes. For the structural accents I used the Fence border punch(MS), Liquid Applique(Z308) for the snow, Evergreen(D1315) for the trees, All Decked Out(D1308) for the snowman, and Holiday Commentary(C1379) for the Christmas greetings.

Happy Building to all who purchase this stamp set.

Wednesday Wishes Meets Color Me Monday

It's Fall and time for pumkins and Thanksgiving. Jeanette's colors are rich and bold. Colors: Ponderosa Pine, Autumn Terracotta, Barn Red, and Bamboo. We don't use Ponderosa Pine that often so it was fun to combine with the fall colors.

When Fall comes I think of leaves. Jeanette made pumkins (really cute) that I will try to make later for 5 Card Night. These cards are "Framework" and "All Tucked In" from Wishes. I used Ponderosa Pine, Barn Red, and Bamboo Cardstock. The leaves and acorn from Many Thanks(D1371) are stamped with Autumn Terracotta and rolled in Barn Red & Ponderosa Pine ink. The words and word background come from Grateful Hearts (1372).

I'm ready to move on from Wednesday Wishes but if you would like me to continue leave me a comment.
Thanks,

Wednesday Wishes Part II

After playing with the leaves I wanted to make some cards with flowers. I used Thanks(D1361) and Delightful Things(D1369) with paper flowers and those pearls on the back of the new Autumn/Winter Idea Book. The designs are "Lucky Layers" and "Simplicity" from Wishes.

Don't forget, I'm ready to move on from Wednesday Wishes but if you would like me to continue leave me a comment.

Thanks,

Trick or Treat

Wow, these traditional Halloween colors are just right for M & M's treats. I used the mixing and matching techniques used on the new CTMH TV on my website. I mixed Silhouette and matched with Tinkering for the clover meadow, sunny yellow and black colors. The orange color is the stamped pumpkin from Spooky Smiles (C1324). The dots on the paper are colored with the markers. Fill the treat bag with M & M's and it's ready to go. This treat topper is "Well Rounded" from Wishes.

OK. These colors scream Trick or Treat. This treat topper is "Left Eclipse" from Wishes. I used the black dotted paper from Silhouette and the clover meadow from Tinkering. The pumpkin is from Spooky Smiles(C1324). I colored the dots with sunny yellow, clover meadow, and orange markers. The treats are yellow and green life saver eyeballs.

Wednesday Wishes Meets Color Me Monday

Last weeks colors were so inspiring that I used them for two projects at 5 Card Night. We made this treat box and a match book cover that holds two lifesavers. Thanks, Jeanette for the use of twilight. I would have never used that color with clover meadow and sunflower.
