I love all kinds of stitches on my projects: Faux stitches, sewing machine stitches, 

and hand stitches. But...lately I have been enjoying my stitched die cuts. If you

On Tuesday, August 1 the new Thin Cut Block Alphabets can be yours

when ordering from the New 2017-18 Annual Inspiration. These letters

can be used for all your card making and scrapbooking needs.

in the new Charcoal color. I added a spot of the new color of the year

Tangerine, Poppy, Willow, Glacier, and Slate

The colors Tangerine and 2nd generation Poppy from Color My Heart make these (sneak Peek) triple layered roses. The stenciled background is Willow and Glacier sponged on a stencil made from an Artbooking background. Leaves are 2nd generation Willow with Willow veins. The Glacier"Hello" is cut from Flower Market Cricut cartridge.

Raspberry, Emerald, and Sea Glass

Color challenge at Color My Heart adds cool Raspberry to

the green colors (Emerald and Sea Glass) from Prickly Pear.

This sketch from Atlantic Hearts is a true keeper. Be sure to

Note: I had this Raspberry rose just sitting on the table

and decided to use it even though it is not CTMH. This rose

comes from Heartfelt Creations. I've been having fun with

This is a sneak peak using vellum flowers that are embossed with

white embossing powder and colored on the back with the colors 

from the Color My Heart challenge ....Lemon, Tangerine,and Sorbet. 

The centers are embellished with Sea Glass glitter gems.

Celebrating Independence Day

I've been wanting to make a 4th of July card with the No Worries

paper pack. When No Worries became the challenge at Heart 2 Heart

I decided it was time. Happy celebrations to everyone today!

Technique Time

 Water Color

At Heart 2 Heart the new water color challenge gave

me the opportunity to bring out my water brushes.

My favorite way to water color is to use the coordinating

ink pad and the water brush to add the color.

This is a close up of the water colored flowers and leaves.

For this technique cut your desired shapes and lay them on

the Versa Mat or a water proof surface. Spray them with a

light mist of water. Use your water brush to pick up ink color

from the lid of your ink pad. Touch the wet image with the

inked brush and it will spread across the wet image. To get the

two tone color on the leaves I used Emerald with a touch of Lemon.
