Oh my goodness. What a Challenge at Heart2Heart. They say a picture is worth a thousand words but our inspiration picture is so full of possibilities. Where do you start? I studied the picture for two days before I could settle on just one card. I had twenty in my mind but most of them were already taken by other very talented artist.
Being a California girl this room looks like a room at a beach cottage.
Oh, yea my Footloose Workshop On The Go just got here and I was ready to play.
It has the colors, the feel, and the shapes that are in this photo.
I was drawn to the four photos on the wall behind the couch. I really liked the white crispness with the brown and blue earthy tones. I also added a little green from the chair.
Now I hope you don't have to study this photo for two days but if you do you will still have time to enter your artwork for a chance to win some goodies. Let's see what inspired you. Be sure to post at Heart2Heart.

I love that you took the colors and shell in the photo and created this 'beachy' card. So inspired by your artwork! Thanks for joining us at Heart 2 Heart!

Love love love it! Beautiful card!
Jody, I think that it worked out awesome! Love the series of beach images like the wall collages! Wish I was a beachy girl IRL- I do get to be in the mountains though. ;0)!
Thanks so much for the very kind comment that you left me. It means a lot as I am a great admirer of your work! :0)
Such a pretty card! I like the beach theme, and the sand dollars stamped on the wooden disks make the perfect accent. Thanks for studying up and taking the H2H photo inspiration challenge!
I think if I put this card to my ear, I'll hear the ocean! How pretty and I love the details which go together so well for an overall beauty!
Thanks for playing!
Your card is gorgeous! I love the way you interpreted the challenge.
