Color My Heart

With a sketch from Atlantic Hearts

The ribbon challenge at Heart 2 Heart gives me a 

chance to do one of my favorite thing with ribbon.

After altering the cover of a spiral notebook I like to

 add some ribbons on the spirals. Then I add ribbon 

 to the coordinating RSVP pen to complete the set. 

Makes a nice gift for someone special.

The colors for this project are from the fun Tic Tac Toe

 challenge at Color My Heart. I used the ones on the 

bottom: Peacock, Peach, and Glacier. These papers

 come from the beautiful Boutique paper pack.

And now another amazing sketch from Atlantic Hearts

It's A Banner Day

With Left Overs from Holiday Kitchen

After making my Holiday recipe book I used the 

left overs for make cards.The banner tags come

When the holidays come around at our house it's time to bring out all the recipe books to make all the holiday goodies. We use at least 6 different books to put together the holiday dinners and the holiday treats. Now...they can be all in one place. Thank you CTMH and the new Holiday Kitchen Recipe Kit. 

After making my recipe cards I used the left overs 

to make some fun cards.

The Colors of Mexico

Green represents Hope, White stands for 

purity, and Red symbolized the

 color of blood for those who died fighting 

for Mexico's independence.

 Fun With Kraft Cardstock

Stamping on Kraft cardstock with white pigment ink gives a fun and country look to any card.  After stamping the image with white pigment ink, I used first generation Ruby for the center flower and second generation Ruby for the surrounding flowers. The leaves are stamped with second generation Peacock. Adding a few White pigment ink splatters finish the look. The greeting is stamped with first generation Peacock.
