As we celebrate Easter and our risen Savior let us 

look to Him for Peace, Joy and Love 

as we live our lives until He comes.

These cards are inspired by the month end challenge at

Heart 2 Heart: Cut it Out. I used the Block Alphabet Thin Cuts

to cut out the words "Faith" and"Hope." The words are then

mounted up over the cut out space for a risen affect.

A Happy Rainbow Hello

Inspired by a Happy Eclipse Card

I was so inspired by Alyson's Eclipse card that I had to try one. I'm sure this technique has been around for a while but I had not heard of it. So, I wanted to give it a try using the rainbow color challenge at Heart 2 Heart. Using my flower stamp from the For You Darling stamp set I stamped each rainbow color in first and then second generation across the card. Then I cut out the letters and popped them up over the cut out space.

Rock & Roll with Sketch 256

Framed Flowers

Rock and roll images by stamping with a light color

and rolling in a darker color. On this card I stamped the

flowers and leaves with Mink ink and rolled the flowers

in Pixie and the leaves in Fern. Cut them out and mount 

them with a cut out frame.

Celebrating Green

Happy St. Patrick's Day

The Heart 2 Heart challenge is going green.

 When I think of green I always say "Green is for Money"

But in this case Green is for St. Patrick's Day.

Blessing to you this day as you celebrate the green.

Treasured Embossed Card

Easter Blessings

The color challenge at Color My Heart worked out for

a cheerful Easter Card. The White Daisy CS is embossed

with the Rose Embossing folder and embossed at an angle leaving

 room for the Easter sentiment. The cut out butterfly is coated with the

 Clear Shimmer Brush to give is a sparkly shine.

Color Dare 282

With the Circle Tags

The challenge at Color My Heart is to make a project

using your choice of red. My choice: Poppy.

Layers of Poppy, Black and White bring this card to life.

The Basic Circle Tags can be layer together and tied at the

top with some twine. The Short & Sweet stamp set has a 

variety of sentiments that just fit on the smallest circle tag.

I used the poppy cards from the Summertime PML cards.

Choose your Red, make a project and share at Color My Heart.

Day 3 Embossed Vellum

Faith, Hope & Joy at Easter

Emboss and open stamp with white embossing powder. Color with

a sponge dauber on the back of the image. Cut out image and attach

with a glue pen. Cover glue area with an enamel gem.

Easter Blossoms

Using the Rose Embossing Folder with B&T paper gives

a soft background look to your card. Add paper layers, 

flowers and twine for texture. I used the soft papers

from the Gimme Some Sugar paper pack and the Gimme 

Some Sugar stamps.

Happy Easter

The Simple Chevron Embossing folder is one of my

favorites. It makes simple lines to give the card

texture and dimension. It is very versatile for every

type of card. Currently it is on clearance for half price.

Cover Challenge

From Seasonal Expressions

My favorite parts of the front cover of Season Expressions are the

Chelsea Gardens paper pack and the butterflies.

Even though the Chelsea Garden Card making Stamps Thin Cuts are no

longer available the images in the stamp set are easy to hand cut. The

stamp set is well worth owning even without the Thin Cuts. I hand 

cut the butterflies and they look much better than cut with the Thin Cuts.

The wings flutter better when hand cut.

Way back in the day when I first became a consultant we learned how to make this pocket card. Just cut a standard card and fold the corners up and tie together with a ribbon. Then just fill the pocket with your favorite themed items. I used the Leaf Thin Cut and flowers from Flower Market.

Use the Gift Card Box to make some fun Easter treat boxes.

Cut the treat box using the  Gift Card Box Thin Cut.

Use the smaller oval in the Basic Oval Thin Cuts for the opening.

Cut the face using the Basic Circle Thin Cuts. Use the cut

out oval from the treat box to shape the ears.
