Water Color
At Heart 2 Heart the new water color challenge gave
me the opportunity to bring out my water brushes.
My favorite way to water color is to use the coordinating
ink pad and the water brush to add the color.
This is a close up of the water colored flowers and leaves.
For this technique cut your desired shapes and lay them on
the Versa Mat or a water proof surface. Spray them with a
light mist of water. Use your water brush to pick up ink color
from the lid of your ink pad. Touch the wet image with the
inked brush and it will spread across the wet image. To get the
two tone color on the leaves I used Emerald with a touch of Lemon.
I used this sketch from Atlantic Hearts for my card.

How lovely! I have a ton of paper flowers languishing in a storage box - you've just given me inspiration to get them out and use them. Thanks 😊
