To Play With Water Color Paints
Remember these water color paints. They are CTMH circa 1998.
This was my first water color paint set when I first became a CTMH (DOTS)
consultant. The set has 2 color pallets, a mixing dish, and a water
bottle with brush inside the water bowl. Water Colors for traveling.
So when I saw these cards on Amy's Art From The Heart
I just had to give it a try. Since my paints aren't here yet
I dug out my 1998 set and went to work.
I cut some water color paper 4 X 5.25 and used my CTMH
brush to swipe come colors on the bottom of the water color paper.
After it was dry, I attached some B&T, stamped a greeting from
Hello Life that coordinated with the paint color. The best part
is the doodling. I tried some different doodle designs that we
doodled in 1998. Doodling was popular in 1998 and now it's back.
After the art piece was finished I attached to a standard card base.
Thanks Amy, You're always an inspiration!

I was wondering where you got that cool looking set of watercolor paints. LOL I read your post. Everything old is new again, right? It reminds of my first day of college American History. The professor had written on the board "History repeats itself." Beautiful cards. Great post.
Ahhh! Thanks for the shout out Jody. I love the doodling you added to your cards and the paint on a diagonal adds so much interest too! You will have to decide if there is much difference between the old and new paints!??
What a darling container! I love it!! I went mulling around for some paint sets when I saw some of the artwork with paints and all I have are the ones you get kids for schools. Can't wait until my new ones from CTMH arrive!
