Color Dare #27

A Sneak Peak With
Sweet Leaf, Topiary and New England Ivy
Being a seamstress before I even knew about stamping I'm loving the new
textiles coming up in the soon to be released Idea Book. I've been adding fabrics
to my cards through the years but now I can add CTMH fabrics. Soooo fun!
This week's color challenge at Color My World is is a monochromatic
challenge with Sweet Leaf, Topiary, and New England Ivy. And taking some
inspiration from last week's challenge to use black and white I used the
black & white textile fabric from the For Always textile collection
with the three greens. So let's see your creations with these colors
this week at Color My World.
CTMH Supplies:
Cardstock: Sweet Leaf, Topiary, White Daisy,  Glitter Paper
Textile: For Always
Ink: Sweet Leaf, New England Ivy, Black
Stamps: Words of Comfort
Embellishments: Seam Binding Ribbon, Bakers Twine, Black Buttons

Great card. I love how you incorporated the new fabric into the card and the use of the die cut. Very nice to see the fabric so creatively used. Thanks for joining us this week.

Love that strip-pieced design (I'm a former, recovering! quilter...); great way to use the new fabric. The script stamps and black-and-white accents set off those challenging greens so well. Thanks for joining the crew at Color My Heart this week! It's always a treat to see your work.

I like how you did the torn-looking strips behind the clean sentiment piece. Such a great look! And I love that fabric. I can't wait to get some! Thanks for joining in at Color My Heart this week.
