Stylin' With a Stitch at Heart 2 Heart

This week the Heart 2 Heart challenge has each design team member creating a card that was done in their own typical "style".  I'm not sure I have a style but I really like vintage and anything to do with sewing. I've been a seamstress for over 50 years and I think I have done my fair share of stitching through the years but when stitching on cards entered the scene I was all over it. I pulled out my sewing machine and began stitching on cards.

So, for my vintage card I used Sonoma and Typeset BTP.  I pulled from my sewing supplies some seam tape for a ribbon, added a little stitching and lace, and a button from the Basic Button Assortment. Adding the sentiment with the stick pin and a triple layered butterfly finishes the card.
Now it's your turn. If you're a seamstress and you want to CASE (copy and share everything) this card just use what ever sewing supplies you have on hand to make your project. It will be fun to see what you come up with. Have fun and happy sewing... on your cards. Be sure to post your creation at Heart 2 Heart.
CTMH Supplies:
BTP: Typeset, Sonoma
Cardstock: Colonial White
Stamps: Card Chatter-Sympathy, Noted Backgrounds
Ink: Smokey Plum
Embellishments: Basic Assorted Buttons, Flutter Paper shapes, Pin Clips
From my stash: Seam Tape ribbon, lace

You are definitely quite the seamstress! You won't find me stitching on cards, even though it is a gorgeous technique. I love your card and your style!
