More Inspiration at Heart 2 Heart

My inspiration started last week when I made the water color background for the jar of flower pens. I wanted to use the water color background to make some thank you cards for my Mom. She loves to send hand written thank you notes for everything. The background just happened to be her favorite colors. After I made the cards I made a coordinating canvas bag to hold them.

My color inspiration came from the 2010 Autumn/Winter Idea Book page 62 & 63. I've been wanting to play with these colors (Sunny Yellow, Lagoon, Pear) since I first saw them in the Idea book. I even got to use my retired sunny yellow posies featured on those pages.
To make the water color background put several drops of Sunny Yellow and Lagoon reinker on a pad of baby wipes. Crumple a plastic bag and pat in the ink. Lightly spray the ink with a mist of water with the spray pen and daub onto white daisy card stock. After you have the desired results add some reinker to the left over water and lightly spray the white daisy to fill in the white areas. Be sure to use both reinker colors in separate spray pens.

Now it's your turn to show us your inspiration for a beautiful creation. Be sure to share with us at
Heart 2 Heart and you could win some terrific prizes from our sponsors S'andra or Tonya. Can't wait to see all the gorgeous inspirational works of art.
