And a Nation Prays

The National Day of Prayer was established by a congressional joint resolution and signed into law by President Truman in 1952. Today with all the turmoil and unsettling events I am urging all people of faith to take a few minutes to pray for our nation and all its leaders.

To all who come here I share with you my card I made to remember this day. I used Jeanette's "Seeds of Change" colors as inspiration for the card and hope that the real seeds of change will be planted today, watered tomorrow and grow strong in the future.

God bless the United States of America and all her people.

This is a beautiful card. I am loving the art work I have seen using this stamp set. It is on my list of stamps to purchase.

Thank you for recognizing the National Day of Prayer--what a privilege it is to be able to freely pray in this country!

Well said, Jody, and I love the card you created for today. I never noticed that sentiment in the TLC stamp set, so I am glad you used it in your card.
