New Summer Products

Welcome to our New Product Blog Hop. Forty-eight fabulous Close to my Heart consultants are celebrating the release of the new Summer Idea Book by showing you our creations with some of the wonderful new products. If you have come from Lisa Stenz's Creative Corner you are on the right path.

Close to my Heart clearly has the creative edge with our new 4 1/2" clear cards. When you want your message to come through loud and clear you will want to use these cards. For my project I made a set of Mix & Match Cards. Here's the new products you will need to make these cards:
  • Cherry-O Paper Pack X7123B
  • Chery-O Creative Basics X5810
  • You're Sweet B1351
  • Tasty Treats D1427
  • Opaques Cherry-O Gems Z1319
  • Tulip Mini Medley Collection Z1320
  • Clear Cards Z1309
You will also need:
  • Envelop Flats Z1244
  • Sweet Leaf Ribbon Round Z1125
  • Chocolate ribbon Round Z1127
To make your Mix & Match cards choose one round card design and one 4 1/2" square design card from Wishes. Using your six papers in your paper pack randomly cut the parts of the cards according to the design plan.

For the round cards I used "Inner Court" randomly cutting the parts from the 6 different prints.

For the square cards I used "Up in the Corner" randomly cutting the parts from the 6 prints.

Create these base cards by randomly cutting the parts of the card design from the six prints in the paper pack. Put each card together randomly and turn the card 1/4 turn each time. Because the prints all coordinate together, each card is different and gives a completely unique look. Sometimes the back side of the BTP looks better. It's nice to have options.
Create the square base cards by randomly cutting the parts of the card from the six prints in the paper pack. Put each card together randomly, turning 1/4 turn each time.

Create eight tags to be added to your base cards. Remember everthing can Mix & Match.

Using the envelop flats make eight 4 1/2" coordinating envelops with labels on the front.

Put them all together in a gift box with the card bases and envelops in one section of the box and the tags in another section of the box. They can be randomly put together as needed. The tags have peel and stick on the back for easy application to any card base.

Slide on a clear cover over the box to hold your cards and tags inside and send with love to your favorite person. Note: The box and clear cover come from http://www.clearbags.com/
Now it's time to hop over to the Scrapbook Addict to view Kathleen's amazing creations.
