Wednesday Wishes Meets Color Me Monday
Jeanette's "Red White and Blue Revisited" color combination was again a fun choice. I used the 6 X 6 designs "Enchanted Enclosure" and "Keep It Level" from Wishes. I do make one change when making 6 X 6 cards. I cut 1 inch off the design to make a 6 X 5 card to save on postage.
For these cards the Indian Corn Blue is from a new paper pack coming in September called "Sweet Home." I used "Bella" for the Creme Brulee, Cocoa Gross Grain Ribbon for Cocoa, and Tulip & Creme Brulee inks.
To view these cards individually see the Art section on my website.

Wednesday Wishes Meets Color Me Monday
Jeanette's colors this week were truly inspirational for summer. Be sure to check her blog to see how she makes a big splash.
For my cards I used "Lower Layers" from Wishes and turned it three different ways. Each card has the black base with a layer of Ocean, Heavenly Blue, or Crystal Blue card stock. I also used some retiring items on each card.

Wednesday Wishes Meets Color Me Monday
I was really excited to use Jeanette's colors this week. It was fun to see the new papers and stamps on her blog. I decided since I don't have new papers and stamps I would go back and use my favorite retiring papers and stamps. I used Life Delights (X7089B) Level II Paper Pack and the two coordinating stamp sets Playful Petal (C1288) and Celebrate Life (C1287). You can see more artwork with retiring papers and stamps sets all through the month of August. So check back when you can.
For my Color Me Monday projects I used my treat box in the August Blog Hop (see below) and filled the treat area with 3 X 3 cards from Wishes. I also made a free standing 2010 desk calendar using "Long Layer" from Wishes.
