New Year - New Seasonal Expressions

New Paper Pack: Charlotte
And some new cutting tools: Thin Cuts
These die cuts make it easy to cut out your
stamped images for some fun and easy creations
I came across this video for an envelope card and decided to give it a try.
This card holds money or checks for a perfect presentation when giving
money. It works with all our two sided printed papers. I dressed up the flap
with the Springtime Wishes thin cuts and some sparkles.
The inside holds a message on a new PML card from the new
Charlotte paper pack. The new paper packs now come with
 twelve 12 X 12 B & T Duos including the coordinating Picture
My Life cards. Lots of fun creating coming your way in the New Year.

Holiday Cheer

With a Sketch
This week's challenge at Heart 2 Heart is to pick your favorite
past Heart 2 Heart challengeMy choice goes way back to the sketch
challenge from October 5. I was asked to be a guest designer
for the month of October and in the course of preparing my projects
for October I had a family emergency and had to back out.
This is the card I made for the first challenge in October. I never had an opportunity
to post it so I'm taking this opportunity to share my sketch challenge card. I
used the sketch below and the White Pines Compliments to make my card.
So pick your favorite H2H challenge and share your project
this week at Heart 2 Heart.

Christmas Tags

Going Vintage This Year
Every year I make homemade decorations at Christmas. This started when my first born was crawling and wanted to eat the ornaments on the tree. All ornaments had to be safe if put in the mouth. I have continued making homemade Christmas decorations all through the 47 years of marriage.
This year I decided to go vintage with all my best vintage decorations. I wanted to make some vintage tags to adorn my Christmas packages. The color dare this week at Color My Heart worked perfectly into my plan. The vintage colors: Cocoa, Cashmere, Cranberry, and Fern.
First Set: Making vintage tags is easy as 1-2-3
1. Cut tag shape using cashmere CS and sand to get the worn look
2. Stamp a background with Cocoa ink or tone on tone Cashmere ink
3. Add your vintage embellishments (see suggested list below)
Second Set: Making vintage tags is easy as 1-2-3
1. Cut white Daisy tag and brayer with cashmere ink.
2. Stamp a background with Cocoa ink or tone on tone Cashmere ink.
3. Add your vintage embellishments (see suggested list below)

Suggested vintage embellishments:
Lace, twine, gingham ribbon, seam binding ribbon
Antique gold or brass hardware
Silk flowers, opaques, charms, brad accents, antique buttons
CTMH Supplies:
