Easy Handmade Paper Flowers

For this flower you will need "Fill in the Blank" (D1465), scissors, removable adhesive, BTP of your choice with coordinating ink. For my flower I used Sofia and Hollyhock ink.

Cut three 2" squares and attach the squares together with removable adhesive. Stamp the flower from "Fill in the Blank" stamp set. Cut out the flowers on the stamped line.

Cut two 2" squares using a different coordinating BTP. Attach the squares together using removable adhesive. Stamp the flower image from "Fill in the Blank" and cut out 1/4" on the inside of the stamped image.

Separate the flowers, remove the adhesive and ink the edges of each flower.

Separate the flowers, remove the adhesive and in the edges. Lay the flowers on a water proof surface (I used the self healing side of my Versa Mat) and mist with water. Gently crumple the wet flowers in to a tight ball. Open each flower carefully and secure all 5 flowers together with a brad. Arrange each layer as you wish to get the shape you want and let dry.

Embellish the center as desired: Opaques, buttons, bows, dimensional elements, sparkles, filigree charm, etc.

Very clever! I would never have thought to stack the papers - thanks for the tip!
